Daphné Émilie Mahamoodally

Daphné is a bilingual, second-year common law student studying at the University of Ottawa.

She currently works as an academic tutor for the Faculty of Common Law and this past summer she worked as a research assistant for the research office of the Faculty of Common. Daphné also devoted her time, in a volunteer capacity, to the Ottawa Center for Legal Innovation as a liaison officer from 2021 to 2022.

Since 2019, Daphné has received many scholarships including the Academic Excellence Admission Scholarship in 2019, the Dean’s Honour List from 2019 to 2021 and several merit scholarships from 2020 to 2021.

FUN FACTS

Daphné is an avid reader of political and philosophical books and in her spare time, she enjoy painting (oil painting, watercolor and acrylic).
