Arielle Thiffault
Arielle is a lawyer licensed to practice in Ontario, trained in both civil and common law, and able to serve clients in both of Canada’s official languages. She is currently a Barreau du Québec candidate and works from both our Ottawa and Montreal offices. Arielle’s practice focuses mainly on civil and commercial litigation.
Committed to finding creative approaches to complex legal challenges, Arielle strives for excellence in all aspects of her practice. She is deeply conscious of the importance of access to justice and actively works to improve the public’s ability to navigate the legal system. Arielle prioritizes practical, real-world solutions tailored to her clients’ individual circumstances, ensuring that the pursuit of justice remains both meaningful and achievable. She places great value on building trust-based relationships with her clients and is dedicated to delivering solutions that are both strategic and resolute.
Arielle brings to her practice a solid foundation of academic excellence and leadership. During her legal studies, she won Best Oralist at the national Laskin Moot and was part of the third-best team overall, also earning her faculty the title of Best Law Faculty. She served two years as president of a student association and was consistently featured on the Dean’s Honor List (2019–2023). Upon graduation, she received the Colonel Michel W. Drapeau Prize for outstanding academic performance and leadership.
FUN FACT:
Scuba diving enthusiast, Arielle is a qualified Divemaster. When she is not working, you will find her outdoors with Mukki, her Husky/German shepherd mix.
