Sandra MacLeod has been working in the legal community for over 30 years.

She began her career as a law clerk but was drawn towards law firm management and human resources. She fully transitioned into a management and HR role approximately 25 years ago and has since obtained her Certified Human Resources Leader designation. She has been instrumental in updating the practices of all law firms that she has worked with to help them become competitive. She also has considerable expertise in developing and implementing processes to ensure a law firm runs smoothly and efficiently.

She is also a life / business coach and enjoys giving back and helping those on their career paths by donating her time to marginalized females.

Sandra grew up in Glengarry, a small Scottish farming community east of Ottawa, a place that on some level she will probably always consider home.  She moved to Ottawa to attend university and never really left – except for a  move to the east coast for a couple of years – she is now back in the Ottawa area.

She currently manages the day-to-day human resources, finance, IT and administration for the David | Sauvé Ottawa office.

FUN FACTS

Sandra enjoys cooking and baking so much that she says if she could have do-over, she would be a chef. She also believes strongly in being kind.
