Gabrielle Charette
Gabrielle is a proud Franco-Ontarian, committed to promoting the accessibility of legal services in both of Canada’s official languages.
During her studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa, she completed several faculty-supervised research projects in rapidly evolving areas of law. Her work focused in particular on the impact of artificial intelligence on tort law, as well as on strategies to enhance access to justice.
She also served as a Guide-Interpreter at the Supreme Court of Canada, where she had the opportunity to engage with the justices of the Court, visiting Canadian and international judges, members of the legal community, the general public, and fellow law students. In addition, she worked with the Court’s Law Branch on Applications for Leave to Appeal, which allowed her to deepen her understanding of the appellate process before the country’s highest court.
