Emma Berthiaume

After completing her summer and articling terms with the firm, Emma is thrilled to return to David & Sauvé as a litigation associate. she maintains a general bilingual litigation practice, with a focus on commercial disputes, breach of contract law, and fraud.

Prior to joining the firm, Emma served as a Judicial Assistant at the Supreme Court of Canada, where she worked alongside Justices of the Court. This experience provided her with valuable insight into complex legal issues and the Court’s decision-making processes.

Throughout her legal studies, Emma achieved academic distinction, earning consistent placement on the Dean’s Honours List and receiving several awards, including the Academic Excellence Admission Scholarship and multiple merit awards.
